This is an opportunity for those responsible for Safeguarding Children in an Education setting to meet and discuss all things safeguarding.  The main theme for our 2025 event is mental health awareness, with a particular focus on children's mental health.  With special guest speakers from Youth Offending Services, who will be delivering a session on Early Intervention and Prevention.  We're very pleased and proud to announce that there will be a Key Note Speaker - Air Commodore Rob Caine MBE MA CMI RAF, who is Head of UK Military Flying Training and Chief of Operations, and also a Trustee for Bear Force Children’s Charity.

This years Conference will major on Children and Young People's Mental Health.  What we can do, as professionals, from a Safeguarding perspective.  How we can be more aware of signs and symptoms, where children and young people's emotional health and wellbeing may be at risk. To raise the profile of being able to talk about the things that are causing children and young people stress and anxiety.  Emphasising the importance of mental health for both staff and pupils/students in being more aware of how living in the current times can impact us all.

Leeder Safeguarding are proud to be working to support Bear Force at the next Annual Safeguarding Conference. Bear Force is a Charity who work to help to develop positive mental health and resilience in young children so that they are better equipped to deal with emotional challenges as they get older.
