Child Exploitation Training
This course includes Child Criminal Exploitation and Child Sexual Exploitation. Sections 109-110 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 make it illegal for a UK National to engage in trafficking a child or young person to or from any Country in the World for the purpose of criminal activity, including Sexual Exploitation. Safeguarding Children in a Digital World Training
This course is aimed at giving delegates the opportunity to explore the way children and young people are using the internet (including the Dark Web) and give an insight into how perpetrators use the internet to gain trust from and abuse children & young people online. The aims of this course are:

Radicalisation Training - CONTEST, PREVENT & CHANNEL
This course is aimed at giving delegates the opportunity a clear and concise overview of the Prevent duty and the UK's Counter-Terrorism legislation. Attendees will look at radicalisation and extremism in the UK and gain an understanding of how a vulnerable person could be drawn into extremist thought or terrorist-related action. the course includes real-life case studies, you'll become familiar with the pitfalls of Prevent and the times when it really makes a difference. The course will endeavour to give you the confidence of knowing when to make a referral and how to make a referral. Aims of the Course, by the end of this course, learners will:

Managing Allegations Training
The aims of this course are to enable delegates to discuss safer caring and allegations within the care sector. This can be an emotive topic, bringing up difficult experiences for some people. All training around safer caring and allegations is focused on achieving the best and safest of standards.

Child Sexual Abuse Training
•Understand exactly what we mean by Child Sexual Abuse •Be able to identify the different types of child sexual abuse •Recognise the possible behaviours which children who have been sexually abused may exhibit and be able to differentiate these from other presenting behaviours •Know how to use the Brook Traffic Light (or similar) to gain an understanding of what is considered developmentally normal behaviour and what might present as a concern •Know how to deal with a disclosure either explicit or implied, where you believe a child might have been sexually abused •A better understanding of perpetrators who use the internet to sexually exploit children and young people •Consider the learning from some high-profile cases of child sexual abuse and exploitation |
